As there's a reading thread, I thought it might be fun to have a TV thread as well. Imo there's not many good shows on anymore. I watch Desperate Housewives, Supernatural, HIMYM and The Graham Norton Show. The first 3 have kind of passed their expiration date some time ago, so I'm basically just waiting for them to end. Well, maybe I have a small sliver of hope left for HIMYM, it hasn't really gotten bad, just a bit 'meh'. Looking forward to Game Of Thrones this spring, as I watched the first season. Love Merlin, but as series 4 ended on christmas eve, it will be a while before S5 starts (probably sep/oct). Love the classic Upstairs Downstairs and thought the new episodes they made (last year, I think?) had some potential, but I haven't heard anything about it for a while so don't know when/if it will be back on. My most guilty pleasure is Big Brother UK. I've seen a few Celebrity BB, with the latest ending last Friday. Only seen 1 regular series though, which was the one during last year. It wasn't really that interesting and went on for far too long, so I'm gonna try to stay away this time and just wait for the next CBB.

You know, I agree that there aren't as many good shows on now - the only one that I'm really watching as it airs is Parks and Recreation. Which is one of probably two or three shows that has ever made me cry from laughter (the other two being Community and Arrested Development). It's amazing! I used to watch HIMYM as well, but lost interest a couple of years back. :\
OMG GAME OF THRONES DID YOU SEE THE SEASON TWO TRAILER? I died. I've read the books so I know the major plot points but still. I CANNOT WAIT.
Hmm, what else do I watch? My favourite shows aren't on the air anymore, sadly: The Wire, Friday Night Lights, Battlestar Galactica, and Pushing Daisies, of course. Though I find both Misfits and American Horror Story to be total guilty pleasures, and they're both ongoing! Oh, and Breaking Bad! How could I ever forget about Breaking Bad? UGH SO AMAZING.

I forgot to mention Fringe, I watch that as well. Last season bored me to tears and I was thinking of giving it up, but this one has been much better! Never heard of Parks and Recreation, I'll have to check it out sometime! GOT, yes! I saw the trailer yesterday. The Dany part was especially exciting I thought. I've only read the first couple of books, but I've spoiled myself silly online so know all the major plots to come anyway. I really miss Lost, and original (UK) Shameless before it turned into some kind of weird soap. Used to love McLeod's Daughters as well, but that too went badly downhill last couple of seasons. And while on the subject of TV, it has to be mentioned that I'm a Whedonverse fan and Buffy/Angel/Firefly are all on my best ever list. Dollhouse not so much, 'nuf said.

I'm a tv-show watching freak! I LOVE watching most of them. One episode is enough and then I'm stuck. I watch House M.D, Dexter, Nikita, The Walking Dead, Heartland, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, those are the most recents I've watched. Also I've seen Dollhouse, Medium, Melrose Place, Ghost Whisperer, Family Guy, My name is Earl, Skins (<3), Heroes. And loads of non-fiction shows aswell, Cake Boss, Project runway, all amercia's next top model series, Supersize vs. Superskinny, Tool Academy, Viva la Bam, How it's made, Hell's kitchen, Choccywoccydoodah, Ultimate Cake off. Too many to count lol. I usually don't watch TV though, I mostly watch everything on my computer. Yup I'm a criminal

I'm definitely a TV nerd (: My favorite shows are most definitely Arrested Development, Portlandia, and 30 Rock. Currently, I'm watching Buffy (Just about to finish season 3), but that's really the only series that's done that I haven't finished. My guilty pleasures are definitely the TLC shows, like Toddlers and Tiaras, Extreme Couponing and the like. I also have a soft spot for Dance Moms (:

Many of us seem to have similar TV-watching tastes I also love Arrested Development and 30 Rock and am crushed that Community is on hiatus. I've fallen way, way behind on most of my shows, so the shows I pretty much have missed the whole season of are Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and 30 Rock... I love Sherlock and can't wait for that to air in the US! My guilty pleasure (and the only thing I seem to have kept up with) is My Little Pony. I'm not even ashamed of it anymore.

Sarah, I've got to admit, I love My Little Pony, too (:
When I had pink hair, I was totally Pinkie Pie. Best part? I'm a really kick-a cupcake baker!
I haven't seen much of the new season yet, but the old episodes hold a special place in my heart.

I've got pink hair right now! (But am not really much of a Pinkie Pie, unfortunately - I can bake, but my idea of a good party is me and a mug of hot chocolate). The new episodes are good Not as good as the first season, but there have definitely been some winners - and there have been more songs, so I can't complain!

Pink hair buds! (: I miss my pink hair. It's so... natural now. It's a purpley brunette. But I had to get rid of the pink, cause I wanted an undercut, and it would just be too much to have a pink undercut. But when I touch my hair up again, I'll totally be a Rarity (: She's the beauty and fashion enthusiast side of me.

I don't have a ton of time to watch TV, but I do have a few that I watch religiously: Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Spartacus, True Blood, Game of Thrones.... I really liked Terra Nova this past fall but I need to catch up on the last couple episodes.

I watch WWE Monday Night RAW (obsessive Chris Jericho & The Miz fan), Glee (haven't really watched it since the Christmas episode, obsessive Puck fan), The Walking Dead (obsessive Daryl fan), Hell on Wheels (missed a few episodes and now idk what happened to it, obsessive Collen fan), and Spartacus (even though I don't have Starz, obsessive Gannicus fan [I call him Ganni for short]). I think that's all the tv shows I watch these days. My work schedule makes me so tired that I don't want to watch my favorite shows DX

I am watching;
Family Guy, Bleach, Cleveland Show, Bob's Burgers
The Walking Dead (I can't wait for next season! AND I AM SCARED TO DEATH TO WATCH ZOMBIE MOVIES...but this show is well done and there are not zombies everywhere where it's too intense and it's based more on character development), The Secret Life of an American Teenager (when it comes back on lol), I miss Dexter (we used to get it when it first came out on HBO, but then it changed), all the CSI's, Criminal Minds<3 PENELOPE!
