(I saw several other people had these sorts of titles and just had to join in with that in the most stereotypically patriotic way possible!)
I guess it's high time I join this lovely forum, isn't it? I'm Erin and I run Coeur d'Coeurs Equestrian, though I also have a simblr (simbot) and am a sims legacy writer and I'm pretty horrible at balancing everything. Just getting that out there.
Anyway, I'm 24 and, as you can tell from that title up there, from Canada. The Canadian prairies, to be only slightly more exact, where I live with my boyfriend, two Yorkies, and a 9-month old tornado of a Golden Retriever. Despite being a prairie girl, I have only ever ridden Western on family trail rides and the like - I've been riding, English-style, since I was five, though I haven't ridden in a number of years. Thanks, lack of both time and money. When I did ride, however, dressage was kind of my thing, and I was rather upset when, at the tender age of ten or so, my instructor informed my that she liked my leg better on a horse as opposed to my favourite pony. It was rather traumatic.
As an English grad, I quite like hyperboles and being wordy, if you couldn't tell. Both those things are pretty obvious. I'm not quite sure what I want to actually do as an English grad: shall I get my PhD and teach, or go into law school, or get a communications degree and become a copy-writer, or write a book? Well, I'm pretty sure that last one is on the table no matter what I decide, but still. In the meantime, I play Sims. And do other things, such as marathon long-gone TV shows (What, you thought my stable name was just really bad French? Nope, Pushing Daisies, y'all), but the most relevant to this particular introduction post is the bit about playing Sims.
I've been casually into The Sims franchise since TS1, but my interest really took off after the release of TS3 and then really really took off after more CC became available for TS3. I break my game all of the time because I am pretty ruthless about downloading CC. So, there's that. You can usually find me on LJ, under the name kittenmittons, where I love stuffing my household full of way too many Sims and then documenting my resulting mental deterioration with the Crescendo legacy. If I'm not there, doubtless I'm stalking all your beautiful stable sites because that's just how I roll. And I think it should go without saying, but I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys outside of quick little chat-box messages! ♥
