Hello fellow horse lovers!
I'm Camy, short for my real name Camille (which you can also refer me as) and I run Briar Sage Ranch. I'm 23 years old and I live in Austin, Texas originally from Allen, Texas. I'm what you may call a tomboy. I prefer comfy clothes over fashionable tight itchy clothing. I'm a video gamer, being a huge racing fan that I beat even my brother on Need For Speed and Midnight Club. Whenever he needs help, he comes to me XD
Right now, I'm attending my second semester in community college (Freshmen still) for Web & Interactive Design. I figured that since I liked to make websites, and I always wanted to learn more, I decided to take it in college. So far, it's been really fun but can be stressful |D
I've ridden Western and English and as for my preference, I like Western. I can't post to save my life. I've tried to do it millions of time but I just can't which is okay since I just ride for pleasure.
My love for horses started when I was 3 or 4 and I had my first toy horse that you could move the joints. Then I got more with each birthday, Christmas, request from "being sick as a award to get a shot" (I know, terrible haha) until I got to 110 toy horses. They all had names (yes, one was named Black Beauty, my most prized horse that only I could play in daycare). All but 2 are with my cousin now and she adores them (she also loves My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and we bonded for HOURS since I love that show too).
SO, imagine my glee when Sims 3: Pets was announced. I saw the trailer and I wanted it. Badly. I got it last year on my 23rd birthday and have been happy with the mechanics (well, there are some disappointments but I think we all know those xD).
I've been with the Sims ever since my brother's friend introduced it to us (when I was in 6th grade, 2000ish I think?). Thing is, I've been the only one to move onto Sims 2 annnnd Sims 3. I just can't stop, it's really fun (but, when you compare the two, I prefer Sims 2 since I love creating sims and neeeeed my mods and Sims 3 is just, AGH nightmare but Sims 3 horses make up for that!).
Lastly are the hobbies and besides games, I love to write, read, roleplay, cosplay, anime, manga (graphic novel), cartoons, listen to music, make websites along with graphics (icons, banners, etc.,), and I just love to make people laugh. I love forums (working on one right now myself for a pairing I adore in an anime series, I'll spare you the details) and I've worked with ProBoards, InvisionFree, phpBB, and SMF. I'm also thinking on opening a forum for people who have Sensory Processing Disorder or for those who have children with it because I have it too and there are still parents who are lost on what to do and need to ask questions.
(Knowledge time, Sensory Processing Disorder is a disorder that the senses of touch (and sometimes hearing) are heightened. I used to be afraid of vaccumns and automatic toilets when I was young. I can't wear jeans or shirts with a design that bugs me. I can't wear any starchy material (unless I'm driven to wear it which I did in Marching Band but the last straw was marching in the rain in the Rosebowl parade when the Allen Eagle Escadrille was invited (very fun yet the rain was horrible timing)) I also cannot sleep without my fan. I hate feeling hot, it's disgusting and I always need it. Always.)
I think that's it. My intros are always long but I hope I didn't bore you. Hope I can get to know you all more in the future :D
